Tuesday Food Allergy Information

Good day my hot little crumpets,

It's time to update the Allergy Information section of my blog.  This is a more serious aspect of my blog and it is therefore really important that I provide as up-to-date and accurate information as possible.  Luckily I have a very good friend who is a qualified Nutritionist and Dietitian who has kindly offered to help me with this very responsible task and I have provided key facts and website details in the Allergy Information page.

The following web link is a must for anyone who has a food allergy/intolerance or anyone living with/catering for someone with an allergy/intolerance.  The pdf guide is simple to understand and tells you exactly how to label foods to minimise any contamination or risk of exposure.


Obviously my blog is not solely for those with food-related intolerances or allergies, however you'd be surprised at how many people can't or won't eat specific food groups and these are for various and multiple reasons.  The chances are you know someone who has a food allergy or intolerance so it may be a good idea to get some basic information just to make sure that if you cook or bake for them you are safely catering to their dietary needs.

I'm not going to forget those with medical conditions (coeliac or diabetes) and I'll also be writing a blog in relation to sugar substitutes and gluten free alternatives.

There will be lots to come; I just wish I had enough time to write all of it right now!
